About the Speaker

 

Nils Martin has a background in Education, German Studies and Trans-Atlantic Cultural Exchange. After several years of teaching in middle schools, outdoor schools, museums, universities and German international schools, he graduated from Georgetown University with an M.A. in German and European Studies with a focus on cultural exchange between the United States and Germany. Since graduating, Nils has been working for the Goethe-Institut in Washington, DC running the Study Bridge Project and the Digital Wanderbus Project. His focus is primarily on working with high schoolers interested in studying abroad.
