About the Speaker

Roxana Pleacoff is currently a Program Officer at the DAAD ASNY. Her responsibilities entail assisting DAAD grantees from Germany with academic placements at U.S. and Canadian universities and informing German International schools in the U.S. of the entry requirements at German universities. Pleacoff has over 20 years of experience in the field of cultural exchanges with a demonstrated history of working in the international affairs industry. Pleacoff was born in Romania, grew up in Germany where she completed Abitur, and has lived in New York with her family for over 30 years. In New York she completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and English literature.
