About the Speaker
A licensed Certified Public Accountant in two states. He was awarded membership by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and was awarded membership in to the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Marc earned a Master's degree in Public Accountancy from the prestigious Canadian educational institution McGill University.
Additionally Marc is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’s (NYSSCPA): 1) International Taxation Committee and 2) Taxation of Individuals Committee and is a regular contributor to legislative changes at the CPA professional regulatory level.
Before bringing his experience and expertise to Protax, Marc was employed by Deloitte & Touche LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, both big 4 firms. It was at Deloitte & Touche LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where Marc managed the individual expatriate and foreign national tax programs for an impressive array of their clients, which included, public multi-national companies, not-for-profit organizations and professional firms.
Specialties: In US international individual taxation, of both US Expatriates- US persons whom move outside the US to work and live and US Foreign Nationals or Non Resident Aliens- non US persons whom move into the US to work and live.
